Seen on one of the Spanish streets.Advertising what, you might ask?!There is really nothing on that paper, and being put up recently-so no,this is not aged sunburned old ad.Even more bizarre, that some one tore a few "numbers" out.I believe this is a trace being left by one of the local Street Artists or Motivators. If you know the answer to this puzzle, please call me-cash prize is awaits you!!! (my phone number you can find on that ad).P.S.Coming up-sign with the phone number advertising...nothing

Autumn Ikebana before Christmas
Ikenbana that I've created recently to commemorate beginning of the Autumn. On one of the trips to nearby mountains I've collected some wood, sticks, leaves, stones and even wild mushrooms.Actually, there is only a few weeks left till Christmas,so have to think about winter looking creation(I suppose just adding some crushed Styrofoam will do the snow effect)))
Xmas shoes & Grapes
Christmas is here!
Now I know,as woke up this morning to this pretty sign.My sister in law was busy this morning decorating my Zara shoes while I was asleep."Ahhh, how pretty!"- She was giggling at my surprised and confused face.Yeah, maybe an idea for a new design for Christmas-but I'm not wearing those shoes in public!!!
And this is where Christmas elements come from.I've being working on a new concept for fruit packaging. Those fruit boxes mend to arrive in tens of thousands to Moscow street markets and fruit shops just before New Years Eve.

"The Swan Lake".
Went to the local theatre to see Tchaikovsky's "The Swan Lake". "El Lago de los Cisnes Sobre Hielo" as it name says-The Swan Lake on Ice was more than just a classical ballet,it's a spectacular show which includes elements of dance, ski skating, drama, acrobatics and all this with strong visuals wrapped up in timeless Tchaikovsky's sounds!!!A real feast for anyone who likes fusion of classical music and theatre.Truly spectacular-not to be missed!Bravo,Bravo!!!

Spooki
Now that is really spooki.
Halloween festive season is over and about over two weeks ago we have stashed away our canny-supposedly scary costumes and masks.Only candle stains still remain here and there and faceless pampkin is still waiting to be cooked in the oven coupled with patotoes and meat.
It was beautiful fresh November Thursday morning. I had to go to the Ayuntamiento (Local council office) to pick up a few papers.Energetically I flew on to the second floor and just before to enter to the office with enthusiastic "¡Hola!" in hallway with corner of my eye I caught a little girl sitting in the corner on a chair. What got my attention was her posture with head bowed towards her knees. With closer look I noticed that she was sitting on a broken small chair with her leg twisted in unnatural way. Her huge hair was hiding her faice, and for a few seconds I thought it might be elderly lady who was drank (reminded me homeless drank person that we see on the streets) sitting here and unable to go home or maybe not feeling good or maybe simply asleep??!!
I got closer and realize that this is a manikin of a little girl in front of me.Completely lifeless,I couldn't believe and wanted to touch it to convice myself that I actually seeing a doll in a hallway of local authorities and not a lost child sitting in the corner or drank and tired elderly lady. Maybe,I thought, she was a part of decoration which wasn't cleared out after that massive Halloween party local MP prepared for his devoted fellow workman.
I was to ambarased to ask anyone about signifikance of a dall in the corner (surelly I would receive simple and obvious unswer to my question!!))
Anywhere,my question is still unuswered-why???Why here, what does it mean, what this all about??!!
If anyone out there has any idea or an answer for this mystery please email me.
P.S.Please note matching colours of the floor tiles with little girls outfit.
Fire extinguisher above her head?Again-with matching colours.

Russian cuisine
Russian cuisine weekPoster promoting Russian cuisine week seeing in the lift of the hotel in Moscow.I found it difficult to find traditional Russian food in Moscow restaurants.City is abundant in European,North Asian,Oriental (sushi bars are very popular here) and other exotic cuisine, but not so much in domestic Blinis or Red Borsch.
Soup with vodkaTraditional Russian fish soup "Уха" (eng. pron."Uha") with vodka-served in aluminium plate used by the military.
Found in "Ерш" restaurant (eng. ruff).
Nan Bread
Nan is a round flat bread. It is produced in a clay oven where the dough is put against the wall for some minutes.Preparation of the Nan Bread by Kazakh bakers in one of the Moscow restaurants.
